Just got these bindings a few weeks ago. Love them so far. They are very comfortable and cushy and still very responsive and stable. Definitely recommended

These are great bindings, pretty solid and durable. So far the only problems i've had with them is the strap getting stripped, last season i went through two, Which its probably not the binding just me but i see that other people on here have also had the same problem so idk whats up, just gets annoying having to stop every couple of minutes to tighten the binding.

I've put three seasons on my SPi. They work in every situation: park to pow. Haven't had a major problem with it until the last season when various things started to break or get worn out. When you tighten down that ankle strap, you feel empowered. Best with mid to stiff boot and an aggressive deck for those days when you want to mess around w/ ski patrol.

Not the most comfortable. The new style ratchets on these are light years ahead of previous RIDE stuff. The bindings are stiff and for a reason. The high backs are a little short for me and they seem to rattle screws loose with every ride. They are OK I guess but there are others I like a lot more especially for the $!!

As with a previous poster, I'm a sturdy guy myself. Or I was last year. At about 260 pounds, I bought the SPi's. And they ratchet down tight and take a beating, I'll say that for them. Very little wiggle even with my hos physique hitting park jumps like I'm trying to tear them off the board. Pros: convertible toe strap is nice; nice ratchet lock down; feel very heavy duty and bombproof Cons: putting these on lockdown will create some pressure points; I've cramped circulation to my feet more than once because there is very little about the bindings that's cushy; little screw thingies for strap adjustment seem to slip sometimes I'm in the process of replacing my SPi's. I ride a small 350' hill in the midWest and a lot of park now. I would like a little more flex and cushion as I've become a better rider. However, I'll keep my SPi's for trips to the big mountains when I know I'll want a little more stiffness and support. Good bindings, especially if you like a firm ride.

I really don't know what these guys are talking about above rating these three or four stars. I am a huge dude, maybe you've seen me on the slopes, the only brown guy riding whose 6'4'' 265 lbs. Needless to say I ride hard and do damage to everything I ride or strap into. These bindings are no different and have held up to the test. The convertible strap is rad, I always go over the toe, but what's sick is it gives you almost limitless potential on where to have your toe strap. It's ultra sickness; pull the boot in tight or keep it snug to the board. Bottom line. The SPI's are a Super Pimp Item.

I've owned and riden the Burton line (Mission-CO2) and after switching to Ride's SPis I wouldn't go back. The aluminum chasis is bomb-proof. The straps are solid (don't break consistently like my Burtons did) and easier to adjust on the fly. The convertible toe strap works a lot better than the cap strap. Ride's ankle strap is also better designed, they are flatter and wider than the Burton line, which makes them lighter and more comfortable. I also like the base of Ride's bindings more than Burton's. It has a rubber sole on it that protects my board's top sheet instead of digging grooves into it like the plastic base of Burton's bindings do.

I got a pair of these a year ago. Pros:They are comfortable and like the response to the board. Cons: The buckels wear out. Ive had to replace the small twist screws with the flap. The ratchet hinges bent within a few sessions and now wont relese with out fighting it at every lift ride. Okay binding but doesn't seem to hold up

I’ve had these bindings for one season so far and they work great. The cams on the buckle are quick and easy - even when packed with snow and ice. Good adjustments especially the toe cap…you can ride it high on top on low in the front or anywhere in between. Feels like you’re locked and loaded when you buckle in. They feel really solid when riding. I have a medium flex boot and the combo seems to work well so far. Can’t believe this is the only review…I see a good number of SPI’s on the slope.

The binding was easy to set up to conform to my boot. Easy to quickly get out of. Not really a big fan of the stretchy convertible toe strap as I thought it did better as a toe strap than fitting over the boot. The ratchets are nice and long for leverage but after the first day of use I was already chewing up the teeth on the straps. Not happy about that at all. Perhaps if the tolerances were a little tighter between the strap and the ratchet this would not happen. All in all mixed feelings with this binding.

Really good bindings. Rode 3 pairs of cartels and they all broke in different ways, last year chairlift tapped my highback and it just cracked, all plastic! Spi's are dope just as customisable as cartels and basplate is light metal. One thing, like all bindings ive hade halfway through the season the teeth on my toe strap gets worn down its not the binding its me haha. Ive replaced it but cant find a right fit strap, when i stomp a landing toe strap pops outta ratchet. So everytime i get outta the landing i pull over to strap before next hit, so annoying. Like i said not a fault of the binding just alot of riding i guess. So dogfunk you got one that fits for toe strap ill buy a few when i order a jacket before 1st chair!
